Please be advised that all aspects are subject to change. I have designed the layout, set dressing, and lighting to establish the desired atmosphere for the level, allowing our artists to enhance it further. The current demo features the map "Warlock," a classic from Halo 2, which I initially blocked out as a testing arena for AI and various gameplay elements, including our unique flood variant known as the 'Scrag.' I look forward to sharing more of my blockouts in the future; for now, here is a brief overview of my recent work since joining the team. Given the nature of dynamically generated procedural levels, I concentrated on creating a "middle" room that provides four distinct pathways for players based on the generation seed: 1) Central Door 2) Left Side Door 3) Right Side Door 4) Gravity Lift I aimed to impart a sense of grandeur to this room, conveying the vastness of the environment while simultaneously enhancing the horror elements by making players feel "small, isolated, and cold." This effect was achieved through my recent lighting iterations and our meticulously crafted, dense "flood" fog, designed to immerse players in a suffocating atmosphere.
